The Woodman Estate Country House on the Mornington Peninsula is renowned not only for its luxurious accommodation but also for its fine food, made using traditional recipes.
With an abundance of produce on their doorstep, Rick and Stephanie Woodman have been creating authentic jams, preserves, relishes, sauces, condiments and mueslis since 1998 and serving them in the onsite restaurant.
In 2015, they launched the Woodman Estate Fine Foods range, to be savoured and shared with friends and family.
“Classic traditions from our table to yours – our range presents the finest premium quality products,” said Rick.
“They are made the classic way in French brat pans, using produce direct from the grower and no artificial nothing! Made as grandma used to make and bake.”
More than 80% of the produce is sourced within 80km of the Woodman Estate – Moorooduc, where the Fine Foods range is made.
The star product has been the Rhubarb & Ginger Preserve, which won gold in 2016 and 2017. Made from 100% Mornington Peninsula grown Winter Rhubarb and Australian-grown ginger, the jam is perfect for a cheese board or to give your apple and rhubarb crumble that tangy twist.
You can buy Woodman Estate Fine Foods preserves, jams, condiments and mueslis at many fine food and tourism destinations, or online at www.woodmanestatefinefoods.com.
